Squadron Commander

             Capt. Randy Ayers joined the 236th Lakefront Squadron three years ago as a staff officer. As a native Clevelander, 
             Capt. Ayers has over 40 years of public service in both appointed and elected positions. Capt. Ayers has more than 21 years of 
             military service in the U.S. Army serving in both the 82nd Airborne Division and Ohio National Guard attaining the rank of
             Chief Warrant Officer. Capt. Ayers holds degrees in Transportation, Business Management, and Management from the University
             of Akron, Kent State University, and Columbia Southern University. For the last 7 years Capt. Ayers has served on
             the Advisory Committee at Cuyahoga Community College supporting the Electrical Engineering Technology Program. Capt. Ayers
             has a 40 year service pin from the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association and currently serves as the Airport Support Network representative 
             for Burke Lakefront Airport. He has retired from the Cleveland Airport System which includes Cleveland Hopkins and Burke 
             Lakefront Airports. Capt. Ayers has attended Civil Air Patrol's National Emergency Services Academy. Currently, Capt. Ayers works 
             both as a IT Consultant and Commercial Real Estate Agent.
